    Procedure: Dentistry Consultation

I am a repeat patient of Dr thaw and has been our family dentist for 7 years running. I would not go to anyone else. He is above par and one of the few that can do oral surgery or take out wisdoms. I was told that he gets this extensive experience from volunteering in third world countries to do dentistry, and since they are ill equipped he does nothing but pull teeth! LOL. He takes a conservative approach to treating my families problems, and unlike other aggressive dentists out there who makes crowns on teeth when only needs fillings!! definitely worth getting a second opinion from here before going through a major mouth overhaul. Saved me alot of $$! I got evaluated for an implant for $5000 at another place, but here, he only charged me for $3400 for the same procedure. Most of everyone I know come to him now, and contrary to earlier review, he is a total PROFESSIONAL

    Procedure: Dentistry Consultation

I had a calcified molar that was infected and I feared that I would lose my tooth. The tooth had become calcified due to a root canal done many years ago at my previous dental office.

Since that negative experience, I have been coming to Dr. Thaw for general dentistry but when the root became infected again I went to my specialist who recommended removal of the molar and a bridge which would cost me an arm and a leg too! I did not have the funds for this procedure so I came to Dr Thaw for his help. His office had helped me negotiate payments when I was previously unemployed.  He  recommended an apicoectomy which saved me a ton of money.  He has been my dentists for years and will be in the future if I can't stop getting these damn cavities and root infections!
